The andalusian company joins the Global Network of Companies Committed to the SDGs

Laboratorios Best Medical is a company from Seville dedicated to the manufacture of food supplements, self-care products, functional foods and supplements for pets. It has formalised its adhesion to the United Nations Global Pacts, the world’s largest enterprise sustainability initiative. With this commitment, Laboratorios Best Medical aligns with the Ten Universal Principles of the Pact related to human rights, labour norms, environment and fight against corruption, among other aspects.
By being part of the Global Pact, Laboratorios Best Medical supports these principles in its business strategy and actively contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This adhesion shows the enterprise’s commitment and determination for being an agent of positive change in society. Laboratorios Best Medical is already working in line with the SDGs, focusing on those that are most relevant to the healthcare sector and its value chain. The enterprise make an effort to promote health and wellbeing (ODS 3), guarantee access to clean water and sanitation (ODS 6), and support industries, innovation and infrastructure (ODS 9), among others. Additionally, sustainability is a fundamental pillar in the processes of Laboratorios Best Medical. The enterprise has introduced responsible production and consumption practices (ODS 12) and it has taken significative actions to reduce its carbon footprint and battle climate change (ODS 13). Furthermore, the enterprise promotes gender equality (ODS 5) and decent work (ODS 8) within its corporate culture.
